This bush Corylus avellana shows his flowers now Male and female.
They most be optimistic, winter isn`t gone yet.
(I have also seen the first ladybugs this year in our garden)

They look like white pine cones. I bet they are huge and gorgeous when they open! I am so excited for your flowers to start blooming because you take wonderful pictures!

I too love catkins, such airy gracefulness.Mine are now open and a bit blowsy.. lovely and long but the colour fades as they age .. .... we can't have it all..
