In The country

City people often don`t realize our food come from the country and farmers have to work hard for it . This field is planted with patato`s to harvest in Sept. Frenche fries? maby We do have a big plant here for frozen fries.
That's a really cool perspective, Pyrrhula! I like the even rows in the soil and the very lovely grass. Nice :-)

I also live in the country and appreciate how hard the farmers work. Potato picking is backbreaking work! Maybe some Dutch farmers will come here next summer for the International Ploughing Match. we will make them very welcome!

I love the angle taken. Farming is very hard work . My husband's family were farmers. Worked day and night.

Great perspective! Our neighborhood is surrounded by many farm fields and I can't wait until we see some green fields popping up. Nice image!

Beautiful agriculture shot. I like the angle. I live in a city, but my city is classified as a rural area because there are so many farms around it. However, there are still people in this city that do not really think about where their food comes from, nor realize how hard agriculture work is. I grew up on a small farm so I really appreciate our farmers and farm workers.

That's a huge field! We grow potatoes just for our family and it's such fun to dig them up and see what you get, but doing it for very long is back-breaking work and gives you a great appreciation for farmers!
I did receive your reply to my comment. Thank you for letting me know where you had more dike photos - very helpful!!!

Great photo, and perspective. I love the way that the "rows" look when they are dug and planted. I grew up around farms as a small child, so I have great respect for the amount of work that it takes to bring in the crops!!

Great shot and interesting angle too :) We grew some potatoes in a pot in the garden. I really should dig them up and see what we've got!

This disturbs my equilibrium. But if it means french fries, I'm all for it. Seriously, love the angle, great shot :-)
