I like your variety and groups of pictures. I started following you during the flower theme and enjoyed the butterfly theme. Love the crops too. I have a great children's book called, "Tops and Bottoms" It deals with root vegetables. I may have to show the kids your onions and beets. Very nice! And yes, you have to have onions if you are going to cook!
You said it..I cry all the time when working with onions..so Hans has to do it. men don't cry! but honestly we use onions on a daily basis..love them. we even make a liquer from onions....taste so good. we drink it slowly and ice cold.
Must be quite an experience to smell an onion field. Cutting onions does make me cry so I put them in the refrigerator first! I use more garlic and ginger than onions though. Great shot, Pyrrhula. 8)
