How wonderful Pyrrhula ,to receive such a wonderful gift of tulips from the farmer They look so lovely and fresh and they will brighten up your home for many days to come !
@stiggle@olivetreeann@cimes1 Not to difficult for me. I collect vases. This one is a handmade vase of a famous Dutch pottery: Zaalberg. @sangwann@777margo Thanks for the fav. Much appreciated
To all : Thanks for you visit and nice comment.
The farmer was kind indeed . To explain it better. They plant the bulbs to get bigger bulbs , Grow them till they bloom. THEN: THEY CUT OFF THE FLOWER. for a better growing. When they harvest the bulbs they first cut of the leaves. In this case: a few bulbs still had flowers . When I did n`t take them home they will be plowed .
Hahahahahahaha! THAT will teach me to go through your photos backward!!! THERE is one of your lovely vases! That is just stunning, Ferry! I love the counter-weight of the vase design as the tulips bend to the outside! And the color! Gorgeous! I'm so glad they made their way to your table, and thank you for sharing this lovely photo!
What a nice thing that he did for you. You can tell by your arrangement that you have worked with flowers. These are so beautiful. I love the lighting and this beautiful vase too. FAV
