trio of dandelion flowers

This dandelion plant reminds me just a bit of van Gogh's earlier sunflower paintings. Or is it my grandmother's dandelion wine for which we used to go to the countyside and collect the dandelions.
As far as I remember, it tasted horrible. The raspberry and redcurrant was nice though, sort of rosé and slightly pétillant!
A really brilliant shot, Hazel, they do indeed resemble sunflowers!

Bright, vibrant but very under rated - a field of dandelions are as beautiful as any other plant. This composition of yelloew on green is wonderful.

I particularly like the way their petals are so tousled.

Bright and cheerful against the dark green leaves. A very nice capture.

@creativeamateur Thank you - the yellow was good as the day was quite grey.

Beautiful photo! It has a lovely composition. When I first saw it, I also thought of van Gogh's sunflowers.

@herussell Are you a fan too?

@quietpurplehaze Oh yes, I love the sunflowers and I have a print of the Mulberry Tree hanging by my desk (it reminds me of the biblical burning bush)

I have a large print of van Gogh's bedroom in our guest room, also one I think is called First Steps of a little child taking his first steps into his father's outstretched arms.
