in Winchester Cathedral Close. (I was a bit surprised at the light in this photo as I was standing under the avenue of trees when I took it and it was quite dull, also the pavement was dark and wet.)
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
Ah more memories. The close is a beautiful place. If you get a chance, on the PP is a photo of the cathedral's flooded crypt! Never known that to happen! I'll get you a link.
@Cherrill thanks very much for that - what a lovely shot - I may be hotfooting it down to the crypt myself soon - our stream flooded in the garden but was not v picturesque. From a trip to Winchester yesterday morning I have so many shots.
Lovely canopy of trees. The brightness of the flags are a stunning contrast to the green of the trees. You would never know it was a dull day. Nice work.
I've had a look through your very colourful album, like a bit of colour myself. I have a very similar pic of the web with the raindrops, so strange how the droplets take on the shapes between the web.
Here it is.....@jilhopgood Not every day I get to see 2 photos of Winchester :-)
