rose after rain

Yes,it's been raining again, well here in the south of England anyway. I was having an early morning walk in the garden with Jinks hopping 3-leggedly when it suddenly started to pour so I had to scoop him up quickly and hurry indoors. This climbing rose (Compassion) got rather battered.

Hot and sunny here but breezy too - love this slightly drooping raindrop speckled bloom :-)

@armorel It turned hot here after the rain - but they were very big drops and spoiled the roses.
