Day 1: Green - at the Fashion Museum, The Assembly Rooms, Bath
I spied the chance in this museum in Bath to dress up as a Victorian lady. This is not something I would normally volunteer to do but when I saw that one of the dresses had a green/black skirt I decided I just had to enter into the spirit in the cause of 365 and to start my 'green week' in the 'rainbowchallenge'.
(Ray found it amusing anyway.)
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
There 's no stopping you Hazel! Well, this is a interesting and very nice shot and well worth the effort of struggling into all those garments! And Ray would have made a rather good 'Regency Buck' I think!
What a lovely shot! You make a very good Regency Lady, Hazel. I really loved my historical re-enactments. I still have my clothes as well, maybe in the Winter when there is less to photograph,,,,You may have given me an idea, Thanks!
Thank you for all your comments - and observations. Funny thing is I didn't think of this as a selfie:
1. I was simply fixated on green for rainbow challenge.
2. Well. it isn't really me - is it?!
and I had no idea I had captured Ray laughing heartily in the background. I almost nearly didn't post this so I'm glad it was of some interest....
@quietpurplehaze Apart from the glasses and that curious little silver box you suit the costume very well. Those boxes used to fascinate me when I was at work. Many of my customers used to tell me that they paint pictures. I could never see how though. Methinks 'tis witchcraft myself....be careful!
