Scary - you were by the sea todays as well? Looks like your weather was similar to ours. I like how you have captured the different layers of beach, sea, land and sky but still make the rider the star.
@doblaine David, thank you - I spent ages doing different versions of this shot, wanting to bring the surfer up larger but not wanting to lose the sea, beach, and, most of all, the clouds. We were at Hillhead, a seaside close to us on Sat, that's the Isle of Wight in the distance. The weather was fabulous. Hope you are feeling really recovered now from the flu.

@pyrrhula thank you for your comments on my pic. And for the info about bamboo. The situation has resolved itself: the neighbour dug up the bamboo, put it in a pot and it died. Now they have some nice variegated hollies and some red and yellow dogwood - and they are still speaking to us!!
A beautiful action shot Hazel. The layers of the sky,sea and beach are wonderful with the sun's reflection on the water making your shot quite magical.
