spindleberries by quietpurplehaze

spindleberries

I love the pink and orange clash in this plant and even the leaves are pink in the autumn. Definitely pretty in pink!
This is wonderful! Nice close-up.

What a lovely plant, I have not seen one of them before...

@gphelps5 I remember them from years ago in the English countryside. Putting this on here I checked it out and find, as with many bright berries, these are poisonous.

It is just so gorgeous! If I find a pink plant at the garden center, I usually will buy it...my favorite color is pink and most of the flowers in my yard are too.

It does make for an interesting contrast - the orange against the pink. Such a pretty plant.

@gnilrets Thank you. I took this later in the day and also I'm not always putting two pics on early at the same time every day in case something more interesting crops up!

Ah yes, I've noticed this bush on some waste ground where I walk the dog. I had no idea what it was - never seen it before. Thanks for sharing this amazing pic.

Amazing colours Hazel. It must really stand out in the garden.

@creativeamateur Paula, these are over the fields growing wild, would you believe! I've now found that they are the same family as a bush in the garden which is not nearly so flambloyant.
