lunching and 'shopping' (november word)

My friend, Anne, and I met for lunch. We had a warming snifter of her home-made damson wine to fortify us against the grey, misty November weather before walking to the restaurant. There she turned the tables on me by taking MY photo so here's another blatant 'non-selfie' selfie! I went down town afterwards and was very happy to buy a pair of PURPLE boots.

@gnilrets Well this was on Friday but, yes, practically everything here is open on Sundays, all the supermarkets, stores in town centres etc etc.

You'll hardly believe that I saw another pair of boots, furry lined, at the same time and today Ray and I have been back to Winchester so now I have TWO new pairs of boots. These are a sort of teal colour - I'm getting reckless in my senior moments haha!
