Dear Hazel. so sad story and when it get near it`s even more worse. You right,that same week ,1000 people where killed in the Philippines by a hurricane, A Belgian mother has killed her tree children, In Holland a 12 year old schoolgirl commit suicide for the reason she was tease on school.
We have a country with no arms allowed , at least every week a killing with a gun. Sometimes I get mad/crazy/depress and feeling total helpless about this It is often , no more then a few lines in a newspaper .
@pyrrhula It's quite hard isn't it to understand man's inhumanity to man? I did not know arms were not allowed in your country - and still people get hold of them. I do also feel that the media have some responsibility for publicising these family killings - but then I guess it's their right to report events. I have to say that I distance myself, as a matter of self preservation, from things about which I can do nothing practically - as my agony does not help anybody.
