Not featured here is the chocolate cake which I concocted a couple of days ago with today's word in mind. Here's the recipe anyway:
Chocolate cake with chocolate and ginger chunks
4 oz SR flour
1 oz cocoa powder
(sieved together)
4 oz soft marge
4 oz caster sugar
2 med/large eggs
Put all ingredients into bowl and mix together well.
Chop 10-12 squares of dark cooking choc and 3-4 pieces stem ginger and add to mixture, plus a little syrup from ginger jar.
Mix again and put into an 8ins diameter greased and lined cake tin.
Love your chocolate shot. Looks like a lovely gutsy one. The cake sounds yummy. Love ginger and chocolate but better not make it as I am trying to stick to my 'healthy' diet, started on 1st Feb once the Christmas chocs were all gone!!!!
Clever idea focussing in on the chocolatey wine label! Nicely done too! As for the choc cake - sounds very good and rather sophisticated - but can't consider making it as I am off choc in a big way after the dreaded choc-butter-cream icing on the Treasure Chest cake .... had to sample it a lot as I went along ...

Hazel - thank you and well done for doing a healthy diet - I can't really even think of trying! Yes, it's one of our favourite wines.
