I can't tell you the name of the variety of this peony because Ray, in charge of 'naming of parts', had got bored with my photography and wandered off!

When I take pic.`s of flowers in shops or gardens I also take a pic afterwards of the name-label/stick. So I know it at home

It is beautiful! Love it so much! The flower itself is gorgeous, but your capture of it is exquisite! The depth, texture and color are amazing. It is a FAV for me...and I love your sense of humor re: your husband!! haha!

Luckily for Ray, I don't have a camera bag, just my p&s which goes in handbag, pocket, whatever - I think I'm the original nomad photographer!!

I'm going to put a hibiscus on later that looks very similar. It doesn't look like any of my others. Now I am wondering... this is beautiful! Congrats on PP. And every knight needs to wander away for a few moments. :)
