I just noticed the sunlight coming through the patio doors yesterday evening and casting the orchid's shadow on the wall. Luckily I didn't spoil the fish I was cooking for dinner by stopping to take a pic or two. It was very good as were the new potatoes and other veg, not forgetting the bottle of Muscadet we'd brought back from France.
Carren, I'm impressed at them too myself sometimes! Seriously, I can cope with my own multi-tasking but not other people's e.g. I once had a job for a very short time where I was at the beck and call of several teachers. It actually made me ill. But later when I became a teacher myself, I found I could juggle my own stuff quite well!
I sized up this shot once before but yesterday the shadow was particularly good. This was either a half price £5 or £6 supermarket orchid! I think they are superior to those in the garden centres (and which cost a lot more!)
My orchid finally dropped it's last flower a couple of days ago. Is that it now, in terms of it's lifespan?
