gunmetal grey

This jet-skier was having a whale of a time yesterday: turns, jumps, falling in the water etc. We were walking along the prom at Lee-on-the-Solent, wrapped up in hats, scarves, etc. Jinks was wearing his usual fur coat.
A lovely breath of fresh air and home for coffee and a read of the newspaper.
People doing that in Taupo today...but a bit warmer. Lovely 25degπŸ‘

@andreajoy

25 would be just fine! (Why are you wearing a furry hat?!!!)

Very well captured Hazel - love the wave he is making!

@tishpics

I didn't quite get the full effect - he was jumping right out of, and clear of , the water!

Brilliant action shot Hazel.

Cool shot.

Super, sharp capture, Hazel (but is it a bit dark - exposure settings with your new X20?)

A little to cold for my liking Hazel!

Great action shot Hazel, looks like great fun - but maybe not in December in the UK!

Great capture of the action.

It looks so cold, I'm with you, a stroll and home for coffee sounds wonderful.

@04haze

Yes, me too - glad to be home in the warm again and didn't even go swimming (in the pool!) as we had planned.
December 16th, 2013
Great action shot and love the dark tones.
December 16th, 2013
Brilliant action shot Hazel (would be a bit cold for me though!)
December 16th, 2013
Excellent capture.

@ivan

Yes, quite right and have had discussions with another 'photographic' friend. The X20 has quite a few different 'auto' menus and I think I picked a wrong one - bit too complicated to explain but I am going to use it on 'straight auto' for a bit to get used to it. Topic of conversation!

@quietpurplehaze Good idea. I use my little x-70 on 'P' almost all the time.

@ivan

That's very cheering! (But the shot above was an interesting exercise working out how I had taken it!)
