We drove to Oxford yesterday where Clare was staying with a friend for New Year and went for a pub lunch with her.
Jinks is always so calm in eateries, just sits under the table peoplewatching, no doubt also waiting for a titbit. But something in this pub was spooking him: he was restless, trying to get on our laps and trembling all the time. He was fine again when we left the pub and got back in the car. One occasion when I wished he could talk!
Such a gorgeous portrait of both !! Hazel there is a family resemblance ( you & Clare !!) and Jinks looks so happy as if in clover !! Happy New Year xx
Beryl, I'm glad u made the family resemblance clear - should not want to be as hairy as Jinks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not sure if Jinks was in ecstasy or agony! All the best to you too, my first commentator of 2014. (Of course I put the wrong year on my shot to start with!)
Lovely capture of both Claire and Jinks. Don`t Jinks like girls? If you did n`t tell the story you may think so.
Ina an I send you, Ray, Claire , and to all the ones you love , our best wishes for next year
It must be haunted Hazel...dogs are very perceptive....pubs are usually old places so perhaps it has history!! Claire does look like you.....Jinks looks happy to see her.
A nice portrait of both Jinks and Clare. It is really too bad he couldn't tell you what was bothering him at the pub. Dogs really have keen senses. Happy New Year!
