.....viewed from Queen's View, so named after a visit there by Queen Victoria.
Another shot from Ray's 3-day Scottish trip
(+ a day each side sitting on the coach to get there and back).
I think he was incredibly economical taking shots: a total of 84 for 3 days, quite often only one shot of one subject and a max of 3 shots for any subject. What I found astonishing was that he told me he didn't even view the shots he had taken on the camera.
A wonderful capture and a place I knew well in the late 60's. I used to camp on the loch shore and walk the hills around there. Don't think I could do it today.
Well he did great , even more by not seeing them. It`s a great view and capture. It makes me and every one I think wanted to visit it and see all those beauty by yourself.
I'd have liked to see it too, Ferry but the coach journey was from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. (just about the length of UK & with stops) which is beyond what I can manage!
This is so gorgeous! What a fantastic view! Well done to your hubby! Wow I can take 83 shots on a single photo shoot..most of course are useless. Thank goodness for digital as opposed to film!! If he takes less photos and they are all as good as this, then there is no arguement from me!

Yes, a bit of snow on the high mountains!
Glad to revive some memories for you through Ray's photo, Heather.
