I think it was possibly photographically the happiest day of my holiday when we visited the castle at Goulaine. I asked where I could take photos and was told I could take them where I wanted.
So that was in the grounds, the exterior of the castle, in the butterfly 'volière' and in the museum about the famous LU biscuit factory in Nantes.
I guess the interior of the castle would have been OK too but we ran out of time and energy for that tour.
Thank you and what you say is interesting. I took my little Lumix on holiday and used it on M and on the biggest photo setting and have been really happy with the results.

Sandy, I guess that effect is due to the 'illusionary' qualities of my little Lumix - I was surprised too!
