Another rainbow shot from my 'expotition' over the fields. It poured with rain, thundered - funny thing I'd never normally have been in the fields in such weather. The scariest moment was when I turned round for a last look before I left and saw the brightest, biggest rainbow, but when I tried to take a shot my camera wouldn't work and the scene was just a blur through the viewfinder. Must have inadvertently got some water in it - anyway it's OK now - phew!
The structure on the tall post on the right is apparently nesting for owls - haven't seen one yet.
No I don't take him on photographic jaunts. If I'd known there was going to be thunder etc while I was standing in the middle of a field under an umbrella, I might have stayed at home!!
Thank you, Arthur, the pity is that the umbrella did not stop me getting wet!!
Great composition too.
Haha! It would have been good to float home instead of squelching home!!
Oh WOW so am I Sam. When I got in Ray said what I knew he'd say, OH HAZEL! All's well......
You're so kind - you should have been over the fields with me last evening - four rainbows in quick succession - got drenched too!
beautiful capture.
