What a gorgeous shot, Hazel. Love the detail you were able to capture. I failed a bit with my new Panasonic at our park. I have some learning to do about movement as some of the squirrels came out blurry. Not used to that happening and have to figure out why and how to set my camera so that does not happen again. This is a macro shot, right? I still have to learn how to use that setting, have not figured it out yet. FAV

@darsphotos

I can't actually remember if this was on macro, probably was - it's taken me a while to learn to use my FZ62, including going on a photography course so perhaps that would be an idea for you? If you use auto the camera just selects macro when necessary - maybe try that for a bit.......

@quietpurplehaze It is taking me time to learn to use my new Panasonic too. Did you go to a photography course or take one online? Where I bought my camera gave me a one on one with the lady I bought the camera from for 1/2 hour and one free class for 1/2 hour. They have class this coming weekend but my husband, son and I will be out of town so will have to wait to do that. I imagine I can call them and ask a few questions too. I will set to Auto and try that too. Thank you, Hazel. I have a plant outside my front door that I can practice on. Nice to know that Auto will automatically shoot macro for now.

@darsphotos

I did my course through the local U3A - 6 to 8 sessions x 2 hours each.
