'Good Boy'

This lovely black labrador suddenly appeared at my side as I was taking a shot on the beach. So I told him to sit and stay which he did and I took his photo.

Good dog. I like the stark contrast in this photo and the paw prints in the sand. You can tell it's in color, but it's almost "B&W"

Yes, you are exactly right and I had to lighten it quite a bit to show the dog's features so therefore white sand! (I didn't think of converting to b&w)

I love black Labradors and still missing ours. It's really difficult to photograph them and get any detail in their fur. Great photo.

Thank you. Strangely enough I called to see a friend today and she has two golden labs but currently fostering a black lab so I got some shots of him. Perhaps I'll post him too! (Very hard to lose a pet.)
