This lovely black labrador suddenly appeared at my side as I was taking a shot on the beach. So I told him to sit and stay which he did and I took his photo.
Yes, you are exactly right and I had to lighten it quite a bit to show the dog's features so therefore white sand! (I didn't think of converting to b&w)
Oh yes, what a good idea! But his owner was calling him as she thought (wrongly) he was bothering me so I guess I would have missed the shot completely!
Thank you. Strangely enough I called to see a friend today and she has two golden labs but currently fostering a black lab so I got some shots of him. Perhaps I'll post him too! (Very hard to lose a pet.)
What a cute dog and photo. I hope you were able to meet the owner. Reading and see that you met the owner. Read what you wrote in the beginning of this post and it is hard to get really clear with black animals and ducks that are black too. Luckily you were able to lighten up this photo. FAV
