flowers in sunshine

Today is grey - again - not raining yet but I think it will be by the time Jinks and I have had our respective breakfasts and are ready to go out.

So here's a shot from a couple of days ago to cheer up the day. The sun was shining through the window on to these chrysanthemums on the dining table.

I have a friend visiting in London at the moment. He isn't too impressed with the gloomy weather. He at least saw a break in the clouds this morning. But he is loving the spectacular scenery.

I guess he went to see the poppies at The Tower. November is a notoriously bad month for weather here but at least we don't have the bad smog now since the air was cleaned up in cities.
