I really like the camera, a6000, but I'm sorry that Sony are so parsimonious with their instructions. Almost everything is online, just a really basic manual provided. I emailed them and am told that they support a paperless environment.
Call me old-fashioned but I like to sit down with a new camera and its manual and find out a bit about it before I start.
Lovely shot and what a gnarled tree.
I guess I am old fashioned too. Much prefer a manual on paper. I find it so much easier to digest that way. You can't flick the pages as easily when you are looking at it on a computer screen. How do you go from page 23 to page 146 in one flick.
Lovely shot Hazel. The a6000 is an awesome camera. The best advice I could give would to get on YouTube and look for how to video's there. There are some really good guides on there. And congrats on the PP too.
Lovely capture and colours. I too hate no manual just a leaflet or CD with some cameras . My new Canon had a wonderful book with it with everything I needed to know and more just need to be able understand it more now.
Kane, thanks, after I read your advice to another 365er about Youtube I did look and have bookmarked the page for the a6000 - I still bemoan no paper manual but look forward to seeing the videos.
The online manual Sony provide has no page numbers. I ordered a copy printed from a supplier I've used before when in this stuation - and it came still with no page numbers - not helpful at all!!! I suppose I could go through and number 209 pages.................
A beautiful capture of this nice place. Love all the layers in this pic. (and the weather)
Thank you ( also a thanks from Ina) for you so nice Christmas wishes ,
I can see the superiority of your latest photos Hazel....not that the others were bad but there is a sharpness & depth to these! I had a Sony & hated the instructions on line! I had to print the main bits off which took a massive Mount of ink! Mean I call it & wrapped up in an excuse about environment issues!
I think they are mean too, Pat! I'm just glad that I had my X20 first and had learnt about cameras before I bought this one because otherwise I should have been really lost. But yes, I think it takes good shots.
