the farm in the valley

This is a view from the top of Old Winchester Hill which is surmounted by an Iron Age hill fort and a Bronze Age cemetery. It is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a National Nature Reserve.

The summit is 197 metres high.

Oh thank you! We went back to Old Winchester Hill this week to take our friends who have been staying. I took a few more 'experimental' shots of this same subject - but they were not as nice!!
