We went to Alton yesterday, had a walk around King's Pond (where I missed a heron - wrong lens), a bite to eat, and a walk down the main street. There we saw a wonderful fruit and veg shop with the produce artistically displayed and went in to buy a cauliflower and 2 pots of planted hyacinths.
Inside I felt that familiar 'photographic itch' coming on and asked the young man serving if I could take some shots of the produce. The answer was in the affirmative and you don't need me to tell you the sequel.
So this is Richard who has worked in 'Get Fresh and Fruity' for 4 years. It was quiet in the shop when I took his photo but then a constant stream of customers came in so I could not talk too much with him.
I did find out that when he is not working he's looking after his two children (one and five years old) and when he's not doing either of these things, he's sleeping.
