I planned to take Jinks out before the rain this morning but when we woke up the wind was already blowing the wet stuff in horizontal swathes. But we got ready and off we went, surprisingly because Jinks sometimes refuses to walk when I open the front door and he sees the rain.
We didn't get far,100 yards up the road and 100 yards back again. Ray was busy at the computer in the hall and I had the idea of asking him to hold Jinks for a shot.
Ray is vignetted out and Jinks is hdr'd in, both on Picasa 3.
Very many thanks, everyone for the views, comments and favs which put my shot of alstroemeria in 'illustration' yesterday on PP.
Beryl, he's going to be less amused when he has go to for a trim. I found he has matts of fur between his front paw pads. I can't deal with those and once he tried to deal with one himself, resulting in a sore foot and having to wear a sock and boots and being unable to go far for a couple of weeks. So it's off to the dog groomer in about 10 days! If they trim him too short, I'll buy him a coat.....
Poor Jinks, even I wouldn't go out in that this morning, let alone lowering my extremities towards wet grass, was that to much info. Lovely capture of a wet Jinks.
I have to say he very often looks like that!
Jinks is gorgeous - and a rascal!!

Jinks' extremities are rather close to wet grass, Heather!
Great capture of cute jinks
