bewitched
I love witch hazel (why wouldn't I?) with its strange spidery shapes and its gorgeous scent. I like its 'proper' name too - hamamelis - now I've learned how to pronounce it.
We saw this in the winter garden at the arboretum.

For me too, this is one of my favorite plants. About names,... in my language we also say Zaubernuss "magical nut". Wonderful picture by the way.
