Bay is a weed in our garden. We had a massive bay tree which we had to have taken down as it was taking all the light and water from the garden and the roots were getting close to the houses and we now have a garden full of bay bushes. they must like our soil

Well captured someone keeps them nicely clipped. The leaves can be dried and kept in a jar too.

What I would give to have a bay leaf tree! This looks like a reasonable size, but still too much for cooking, I suppose!
