I will be using my 30mm lens with my Sony a6000 because I understand this is the closest to a nifty fifty on a full frame camera.
I participated in this challenge last year and found it really useful.
And thanks, Richard, you decided for me which lens to take to Edinburgh next week!
Apologies, my commenting will be a bit sparse for one week from tomorrow.
p.s. Oops, I checked and find it was not last year but 2015 when I did this challenge. Under one photo I wrote "Posted for nf-sooc-2015 - as ever, limiting and liberating."
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
Wonderful soft tone and shallow depth of field to make Ray's Cyclamen's stand out its a lovely image, your right 30mm lens on your Camera is spot on 50mm full frame enjoy the challenge Hazel:)
I saw the title before I saw the flower and thought you meant knickers!! Oo eerrr!! Bit of a "Carry On" moment there! Sweet cyclamen. I always enjoy them through the darker months, so delicate but sturdy and such lovely colours.
Hope you have a fabulous time in Edinburgh. I shall be intrigued to see what your lens produces. I only have one lens and you are making me think it might be fun to have more!
last year was Square September if I recall, as I then couldn't remember how to get it OFF square in October!!!
This is so gorgeous on black. Enjoy Scotland, hope you get to see the new bridge?
