We were lucky to find Kev in the High Street and he was happy to pose for several photos, telling passers by that we were his mum and dad, that I was the local MP, that I was a photographer with a national newspaper. (in my dreams!)
He insisted on having a photo taken with Ray - in my second album.
And of course, later, I will be perusing our copy of the Big Issue.
Superb street portrait Hazel, what an interesting fellow full of fun considering Kev's current circumstances, suspect he sells lots of Big issues dressed like that, thanks for the link fame at last for Kev I wish him well:)
A great story and portrait. so glad you bought a copy of the Big Issue off him. The Big Issue sellers really do have to work hard to earn such small amounts of money.
A terrific shot of Kev he sounds like great fun and would cheer up any grey day . Wonderful outfit to be wearing and nice to hear he is loved by his local comminity.
Thanks for being interested!
David, thank you, I just love it and realise more and more that, for me, each photo begs a atory.
