no postcards

I always like the chance to use the in-camera s/c option on my a6000 and saw this post box in Aylesford Priory where we stopped en route for lunch.

Does anybody send postcards on holiday? Mine travel electronically now.

Excellent selective colouring. I don't send postcards any more, but when my sister was here from the UK I think she sent postcards to everyone she knows.

I don't in fact mind writing the cards but it's finding the stamps and postboxes that bugs me - especially abroad! (usually wrong colour!)

Love to see the old post-boxes built into the wall esp.a stone wall !! No I no longer send postcards since my mum died - I always sent her one . but text one or two of my friends these days !! Enjoy your hols !!

Great S/C capture. It was always nice to receive a postcard from a loved one but sadly those days are gone. Nowadays the sender is home before the post card arrives.

I never send postcards now although I did send one to each if the grandchildren last time we were away, the little ones anyway. They arrived in NZ over a month later! A red post box always goes down well so,hopefully we will still keep sending mail.
