Thank you everybody for a fabulous response to this shot. Ray bought a plant so hopefully there will be purple and white granny's bonnets in our garden next year. One thing which puzzles me is that some aquilegia/granny's bonnets hang their heads but this variety does not?!
You couldn't wear this like a hat......
