a place to stay

You can have your holiday here right at the end of the headland at Hengistbury Head.

A few disadvantages though:
You have to leave your car a mile and a half away.
A land rover will bring you here but then you have to either walk or take the little land train back to the car park.
No shops, just one beach restaurant.
You can cross the narrow channel by ferry to Mudeford Quay. I did it once but the strong current definitely is not for people like me who are averse to little boats.

It would definitely be getting away from it all!
Lovely scenery.
I don't mind the walking or lack of shops but I do like to swim

@annied

You could swim on a beach round the other side http://365project.org/quietpurplehaze/365/2018-10-05

It appeals to me! No crowds and a lovely beach view.

I suppose it would be okay for one night plus a trip to Mudeford Quay but beyond that apart from eating at the only restaurant there doesn't seem much to do.

It does sound very isolated. I don't know if I would like that. Great shot, though.
