We had lunch in The Old House at Home, a look in M&Co for a jumper for me(I didn’t find one), a visit to Romsey Abbey for photos and a sit down for me (been struggling a little for a few days with a bad back which came from nowhere - wish it would go back there) and a final refreshment in Costa Coffee where I sat in wait with my little Sony while Sylv located her photos on her new iPhone.
When she looked up I asked, camera ready, if I could take her photo. She said yes.
btw it was going to be tea not coffee in her cup.....
Lovely portrait of your friend . - buying clothes is a so difficult for me too . @gijsje@quietpurplehaze - as yet I haven't found that sweater I was going to buy before Christmas !!
A lovely friendly face Hazel.... sounds a lovely day out. Hope your back recovers quickly, Harry has a sore back & he’s miserable but won’t stay in & rest it! He was using the axe yesterday....I was cross, how do you expect it to get better doing that?
Thank you. Has to do a small crop as I could not quite get the frame correct when I took the shot but what you say is exactly my intention! This Romsey is in Hampshire, England.
Yes, it was lovely. And no I don’t think an axe is good for a bad back. I am kind to my back: hot wheatbag, TENS machine, leisurely swim ( was hard getting my socks and shoes off!), gentle exercises and paracetamol when it gets really annoying. We should all take you clothes shopping with us.....
Lovely portrait of your friend and nice to get out together for a girly day. I save a lot money nowadays as I have a problem with clothes and being a little short and a spreading shape I just give up and make do with what I have although I do get my trousers from M&S as they have short length and the fit is just right. Hope your back is soon a lot better Hazel.
I find it difficult to buy new clothes; nothing seems to suit me... ;-(
It doesn’t suit me either!!

I like ‘cup of warmth’! Nice expression.
