Many thanks for your generous and lovely comments and encouragement. I am working really hard on exercises plus walking - indoors to the dulcet tones of Vivaldi's bassoon concertos. I can manage with one crutch but think that none is going to take a little longer! Have a good Sunday!

Ferry, for 2 years I have had painful osteoarthritis in my left hip. Finally I could not walk by myself so I have just had a hip replacement operaton. Getting better every day. Thank you for asking.
