Day 16, I had no wildlife but last evening this bird kindly appeared on our patio. Today is Day 18 when I have no circles either, so here is the offering for 16 posted on 18.....
No artistic merit here with my snapshots, but can anyone identify this bird for us? Having strutted its stuff along the patio it dived behind the rosemary bush where it spent the night in the herbs and flew off this morning, having declined the drink of water I took out for it.
Such a beautifully marked bird…she does look like a pheasant….they visit gardens regularly so she likes yours! She looks quite small & pale on the breast so could be wrong.
