Well that's one way of putting it Hazel! There's certainly a lot of energy involved. I am definitely too lazy to do this (even if I wanted to!) and I'm pretty sure our fuses would all go bang!
@judithg Well, energy isn't in it as these decorations go up every year at the beginning of December. Every time we have a hard frost or a windy night, all the blow-up figures deflate and have to be re-blown up.
A few houses round here have lots of decorations but this one is the 'crĂȘme de la crĂȘme'. Our effort of one set of still(non-sparkling!) lights on a conifer in the front garden is just too pathetic! (And think of the electricity!)
