This is the house in Winchester...........

.....where Jane Austen lived her last days and died. She is buried in nearby Winchester Cathedral. The house is not open to the public and I think the inhabitants must get a bit tired of people trying to peer through the windows (or taking pics to put on 365.)
Love the composition. Very creative and informative.

@gerry To find this house you have to go to the cathedral and then on and out of the cathedral close into a street which is a little removed from the main street.

Nice share Hazel and i think i'd probably get annoyed with people peering in at me if i were living there, although they must be used to it i'm guessing!

@pyrrhula I hardly dare say this but I am not a fan of the books of Jane Austen. I only know one other person with the same opinion - my friend Anne. When I admitted my view to some other friends, they thought I was being irreligious........ So I'll just keep quiet in future.

I'm with you there Hazel...not a fan either! I've tried...but no.

@quietpurplehaze, I only know the movies made from them . I`m not a big novel reader myself.

@pyrrhula The movies, and plays are more insufferable than the books, as far as I'm concerned!
