I'm sure it doesn't mean that!! I remember having goose at my uncle's house one childhood Christmas and sometimes think of it for Christmas but have never actually cooked one. Any tips?!
Vanessa, thanks for your comment and for your comments on all my pics. It's funny that everybody thinks this goose is a he and I thought it was a she!! Six ducks came out of the pond and then suddenly the goose appeared like an afterthought and finished up being the star of the show. Have a good weekend!
That's probably why I haven't actually ever cooked a goose for Christmas - I still have memories of cooking whole ducks and each time the smoke alarms were set off by the fat cooking so now we have duck breast (better anyway for me as Neil cooks those recipes!) or duck legs.
