the dying day by quietpurplehaze

the dying day

I sat for 30 minutes on a windy, chilly beach to get this shot - not sure if it was really worth it!
It was!!

Oh thank you all. What fascinated me was the knowledge that from Bracklesham Bay you can see the Spinnaker Tower and Gunwharf Quays at Portsmouth - if you view large you might just make them out in grey silhouette to the left of the sun.

I didn't sit out in the cold, but I'd say it was well worth it! Beautiful!

Thank you. It's good to be back - although I've managed to post some shots when I found wifi on a couple of days, I couldn't really comment as well. I had 250 emails on my account when I got home - being a 365er, you will never feel lonely!! We had a lovely relaxing time in spite of the weather being cold but at least it was dry. And now, our son, Neil is making a pork stir fry for us and there's some wine chilling in the fridge.

I started Neil on cooking when he could not find work after completing his Maths degree. The first thing he cooked was chile con carne. It's come back to me a hundredfold as he shares the responsibility of cooking the evening meal with me and has more than 20 fab recipes at his command.
