amazing

Ray was astonished when I just came in with this pic of the rhododendron which has been languishing in a pot down by the stream and never flowering. He also said the flowers were more an apricot colour the first and only time it flowered. So I fished the label out of the soil in the pot and then I could understand why it doesn't flower very often!
Tee hee !! why call a flower grumpy ?? It must reflect on the gardener whointroduced this new variety !!!!

Ha! I love little surprises like this. And what a great contrast from languishing to this beautiful picture! Grumpy no longer. I learned grumpy in sign language this week if you need that.

Did a little bit of research and it seems a series of rhododendrons was named after Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.................
