Hazel, is that the Knowle in Sevenoaks? My grandmother's family lived there in Sevenoaks for a few years at the end of the late 19th century. I love the town and Knowle.
No it's just the name of the park here in Fair Oak (Hampshire) - recently created when a farmer gifted 4 fields to the parish. I know Sevenoaks and the park there with the deer (spelt Knole), as my father was billeted there before he went off to war. My mother found lodgings with a couple who lived in Bessels Green and they all remained friends for the rest of their lives.
That little p&s camera is a bit battered (I fell over when carrying it once and the screen is scratched) but it sure takes a great close up.
