Luckily we did manage to get a cup of coffee...

...at this beachside shop/café - a cafetière, strong and black, a definite moment of happiness. I liked the owner's attitude to custom.
Hehe !! I love the flyer -it tells you all ,or, tells you nothing whichever way you may look at it !! Love the postcard style image with Jinks doing his *Ido like to be beside the seaside *

What a well run business that is, and with such a clear and precise information strategy. If people like that were running the country we would never have got into the mess we are in now!

Hahaha, you sure were lucky to get some coffee. May I ask at what time you actually were at this place. This is so funny and the look on Jinks face sums it all up

@khirsch

I think it was mid-morning and Jinks got a big bowl of fresh water too. Those folding dog bowls sound interesting - have not heard of them before.

@quietpurplehaze they are made out something similar to lorry canvas, I think my hubby got in in a outdoor/hiking supplies shop. Its very neat because you can fold it into the bag and just have to carry the water bottle. I use this as well as a food bowl , when we're on holiday. But some of my friends use a bottle -bowl combination where the 'bowl' is attached to the bottle.

hahaha love the ad hoc attitude! You can get the dog bowls from Petsmart too. My old dog would drink straight from a bottle with a sports cap, which was extremely handy!

Lots of words to tell, we are open or we are not. And when we are not , we are closed
Do that feel comfortable sitting on those rocks ?

@pyrrhula

No those pebbly beaches are not too comfortable to sit on! But from the cliffs it looks like lovely soft sand so I know how it's easy to mislead folk in travel brochures.
