enjoying the roses in the walled garden

We decided to go to Mottisfont to see the roses and lots of other people had decided to go as well. Hard to take shots without people in them so I made the most of the situation.

The lavender along the borders, although it wasn't quite out, smelled lovely and if you ran your fingers over the leaves it was a very strong perfume.
