I suddenly realised I hadn't seen Jinks for a while this afternoon. There are plenty of hiding places in our garden, although I don't worry about the stream where he could actually escape, because he hates water. And there he was at last under the conifer hedge on a bed of grass. So I had to quickly go back indoors for the camera.
Peek-a-boo Jinks !! -So sensible,Jinks had found a shady spot away from the mid-day sun --so we can not quote * mad dogs & Englishmen ------* in Jinks' case !! nice shot Hazel !!
Thank you! Capture in both senses - the couple of times we didn't find him and he had escaped from the garden were not so funny!! He got out when a puppy and we found him further down the bank of the stream. He ran up and down behind the trees barking at us. Ray had to put his wellies on to get in the stream which was in flood and we eventually trapped JInks by waving the neighbour's pack of sausages (just returned from the supermarket) under his nose!!
he's not silly!!
That Jinks is pretty cute, sometimes too cute for me and he certainly keeps my brain cells exercised!!

I laughed a lot at your comments! They were bred to hunt rats and yes they do like holes and little confined places (which I don't!!)
Is it : to breed or to bred ?
Tricky bit of grammar that, Ferry: I breed rats; the rats are bred (not true in any case!)
Hard to identifyl teasing without facial expressions tone of voice etc etc to help!!!
