I took this photo in some friends' garden a few weeks back when we were collecting apples from their Bramley tree. They came to our house today to collect some kindling which was our old broken-up hazel fence. (I asked them to think of me when they are burning it!)
My optimistic message is that maybe the storm will not be as bad as forecast.
