I thought it might make him a bit better behaved after the merry dance he led Ray last night barking in his face and rushing about the lounge trying to get him to 'play tennis'. (I was cooking roast potatoes.)
I definitely need more practice: both in high-key and in Jinks-training.
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
This is just taken on the 'high-key' effect on my camera plus I upped the exposure two stops at the same time. It seems to work sometimes better than others!
Well he can be trying. One friend who looked after him while we were away found that he fell in her fish pond (in spite of numerous warnings), another friend's water lily was repeatedly pulled out of her pond until finally she put it in a bucket while Jinks was there and re-instated it in the pond after we had collected him - and a third friend wanted to go out but Jinks sneaked into her back garden and would not come back in. She finally went out 2 hours later. So we are lucky to still have friends and now Jinks goes to the dog sitter......
Your especially photogenic little Jinks get's up to "high Jink's" more often in times of your absence, perhaps in protest, at other times you are busy training each other, mostly with amicable success, I expect.
Your photography captures are fantastic but with Jinks just out of interest try speaking to him in firm German "only" when being annoying & possibly the different tone may have a quieting effect, even if fleetingly.
Good capture!

We're not often cross with him but he can try one's patience!

Well you are so kind, Beryl - it was kind of one shot working to a ratio of about a dozen shots taken!
