Jinks had to have a 'dental' today. He's been unable to eat dog meal or biscuits for a couple of weeks and I've been feeding him on weetabix/warm milk, rice/chicken breast, scrambled egg etc.
So today he had TEN teeth out. (He's always glad to leave the vet's premises.) They kindly fed him lunch when he came round and since he's been home (a little over two hours) he's had a scrambled egg and more rice and chicken. I'm not quite sure what to give him for supper.
(The shot is a bit blurry but I only had one chance when the vet nurse came out with Jinks!)
btw the vet's is right near South Pond and there was a cheery notice on the wall in the waiting room giving info about the goose who has gone to pastures new.
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
Oh dear poor Jinks. He is in the wars again. I think the blurry shot is perfect, it is probably how he was feeling.
Hope he is feeling better soon. Not only a painful day but an expensive one too no doubt.
David was at the dentist yesterday having a crown fitted on his tooth. Another expensive day.
