Just me trying to hang out out of the upstairs window for the best angle - Monday morning, washing on the line (I don't have Monday washday but it happened to be so today), parasol ready for morning coffee and lunch and French Lit group this afternoon. The sun is shining and has been for several days now. If I feel really energetic I could even fit in a swim this morning. Lucky to have a good start to the week.
@tishpics Well I only had cereal for breakfast and around 11.30 I felt a bic peckish so had 2 pieces of toast, one with goat's cheese, the other with butter and marmalade + 2 cups of coffee. then I had a lie down on the lawn and now I'm feeling prepared for Le Dernier Ami - Tahar ben Jelloun - not an author I knew before and introduced by another group member but will definitely be seeking out more of his novels. Hope your day is good!
@quietpurplehaze You made me LOL really! Lie down on the lawn! I know just how you feel! I am just starting ' les Dieux voyagent toujours incognito' by Laurent Gounelle. Will check out your book.
@tishpics Well I seem to go to bed, sleep all night and after about 3 hours I'm tired again! I keep putting it down to the weather - but it could be something else of course........... I'll check out your book too - new to me. p.s. I think I might have actually dropped off this morning - only for a few minutes of course (yesterday we went to a concert at uni and 2 gents across the aisle from me spent a good part of the time nodding off - at least they didn't fall off their seats!)
@tishpics I'm back from French which was very good. Then Ray & I decided to do the supermarket instead of tomorrow so now I'm tired again - but have to make the dinner. Still I'm fortunate that Neil (our son) cooks on at least alternate nights!
We have the same duvet cover!! Except mine is still on the bed - getting duvet covers on and off for washing really does defeat my frozen shoulder - I'm going to get the other half to sort it tonight!
